Halloween is supposed to be a night where you can dress up and eat candy until you’re sick. We have always been told the horrors that could surround this coma inducing sugar filled night, but where did these terrifying stories come from? It’s not a shock that they stem from real life occurrences. From bitter pixie sticks, to the mysteries revolving around the missing. This month we are talking about the real life Halloween scary stories, now it’s time to unpack the story behind the mask, let’s talk about the people wearing their deadly disguises.
The crazy thing about the 31st of October is that I would have assumed that it would be filled with crime, I’m not going to lie. That is something that was engrained in my head when I was younger, safety while going out and trick or treating. But I would have never guessed that honestly it was the same as every day, if anything there would be less crime.
So to find out there was very little cases where someone who wore a mask broke into someones house was just mine blowing. I assumed there would be so many assaults, break ins, murders, because the streets are crawling with people wearing masks and it would be much easier to get away with it. Nobody would give you a double take if you were walking down the street in a costume.
These three cases I covered were shorter then I wanted them to be, but I still felt like they were important because everyone who comes to any sort of end, tragic or not, deserves to have there stories told.
Just a reminder that we are here to spread awareness! Lets leave any hate out of the comments, thanks!

research things to give you the most accurately covered cases possible, but I do make some mistakes and I do apologize for it. Nothing in this podcast should be taken as 100% facts and if you wish to know more about the case, I highly recommend doing your own research.
